Goidhoo Island is a peaceful local island in Baa Atoll, known for its untouched nature and quiet atmosphere. Quite large by local island standards, Goidhoo measures around 2.2 km by 1.8 km, yet its village is small and home to only about 500 people. One of the island’s most unique features is its freshwater lake, which is very rare in the Maldives.
